Convene with Planning & Sourcing and Importation & Logistics Section Head at the end of the year to set annual importation approval plan for coming year, ensuring consistency with annual purchasing plan. Monitor plan deviations along the year and record to help inform plan development in coming years.
Act as a primary point of contact between El Ahlyia and the EDA, compiling documents & certificates and submitting to the EDA for importation approvals. Continuously monitor approval status for timely resolution.
Collaborate with EDA communication specialist to handle EDA comments related to importation approval.
Monitor logistics provider performance and update relevant KPIs.
Communicate to section head to deliver performance feedback to providers.
Track costs associated with logistics and importation, ensuring they align with budgeted forecasts. Report any significant variances to the Importation & Logistics Section Head to support cost optimization efforts.
Coordinate with customs agents and logistics providers to ensure timely customs clearance for incoming shipments. Track the status of shipments in customs and address any delays or issues that arise.
