A Personnel Specialist in the building materials industry is responsible for managing employee-related processes while supporting the operational and field staff who work in manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, and sales of building materials (cement, steel, aggregates, insulation, chemicals, etc.). Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding:Hiring skilled labor, warehouse workers, sales representatives, drivers, technicians, and administrative staff. HR Administration:Managing personnel files, contracts, attendance, leave records, overtime, and payroll inputs. Compliance:Ensuring full compliance with labor law, health & safety regulations, and company policies—important in factories and production sites. Employee Relations:Handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and supporting supervisors in performance and behavior issues. Training Coordination:Arranging safety training, technical training, and staff development programs relevant to building material operations. Workforce Planning:Coordinating with production and logistics managers to ensure staffing levels meet operational demands. Performance Support:Assisting in performance appraisals and tracking KPIs for factory workers and sales teams. Key Skills Strong understanding of labor law and HR procedures Experience working with blue-collar and field teams Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail in documentation and compliance Ability to work in industrial or factory environments
