We are looking for a Sales Technical Engineer specializing in Fire Rated Doors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the company’s product line and ensuring compliance with international fire safety standards.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the CFO or his nominees, he/she will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding and combining knowledge of fire safety regulations and door specifications with sales skills to assist clients by considering their needs, answering technical questions, and providing product support.
- Conducting presentations and product demonstrations for consultants and contractors.
- Reviewing project drawings, BOQs, and product/project specifications to identify opportunities and ensure accurate proposals.
- Preparing costing/pricing sheets, and formal quotations for the projects.
- Working closely with the internal engineering teams regarding product selection, specifications, and compliance statements.
- Maintaining close communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle—submittals, approvals, delivery schedules, and installation support.
- Closely monitoring market trends and competitor offerings to support strategic planning.
- Regularly updating sales reports, pipelines, and forecasts and share with the management.
- Staying abreast on fire door standards, certifications, and market pricing.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or his nominees.
