Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards. Manage monthly closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time. Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasting models aligned with company goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification or equivalent professional designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
