- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine accurate cost projections.
- Monitor and control project budgets throughout the project lifecycle, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and value engineering.
- Develop and maintain cost databases, historical records, and benchmarking data for future reference.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure alignment with project budgets and requirements.
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for management, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Support tendering and bidding processes by providing accurate cost breakdowns and justifications.
- Assist in contract negotiations by providing cost analysis and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements in all cost engineering activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Control.Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost tracking.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost management tools.Ability to prepare cost reports and monitor project financial performance.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent communication and reporting skills.
