The Senior Network & Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure while ensuring robust security measures are in place. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, security best practices, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in both network engineering and security.Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, VLANs).Expertise in network security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, etc.).Proficient in network troubleshooting tools.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and mentor team members.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Huawei HCIA, Fortinet NSE, CISSP, CISM, or CEH.) preferred.Ability to assign and manage IP addresses for cameras and NVRs.Experience with platforms like Honeywell, Hikvision, Vivotek, etc.
