The Architectural Tender Engineer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and preparing technical and financial proposals for architectural projects, ensuring the submission of accurate and competitive tenders aligned with client requirements and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and study tender documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions.
• Analyze project scope and identify architectural and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, procurement, and estimation teams) to collect required information.
• Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) to clarify any ambiguities in the tender documents.
• Prepare and review technical and financial offers in compliance with tender requirements.
• Review architectural designs and ensure compliance with tender specifications and client standards.
• Update and revise tender submissions based on received clarifications or addendums.
• Support post-award teams by providing all necessary tender-related data.
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and analyze reasons for success or rejection to improve future performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in architectural tendering or a similar role within the construction industry.Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes.Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tenders simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to work full-time and on-site as required by project demands.Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite.
