OT Cybersecurity Services Manager

Job Purpose:

The OT Cybersecurity Services Manager will lead and deliver specialized cybersecurity solutions for industrial and critical infrastructure environments across the Middle East, based out of our Egypt office. This role is responsible for managing OT cyber risk, designing, and implementing security frameworks, supporting OT projects, and ensuring best-in-class cybersecurity practices for clients in regulated and high-risk sectors.

The position emphasizes operational resilience and safety, addressing unique OT requirements such as ICS/SCADA protocols, legacy system protection, and compliance with international standards including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001. The manager will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and work closely with client stakeholders, security operations, and engineering groups to ensure secure, compliant, and sustainable industrial operations.

Accountabilities:

1. OT Cybersecurity Service Delivery:

  • Lead the delivery of OT cybersecurity services, including risk assessments, architecture reviews, and incident response across ICS, SCADA, and automation systems.
  • Conduct security gap analyses and vulnerability assessments for utilities, production facilities, and manufacturing environments.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and tuning of IDS/IPS, firewalls, and network segmentation solutions in OT environments.
  • Ensure project delivery complies with regulatory, contractual, and client requirements across critical industries such as energy, manufacturing, and government.

2. Governance, Risk & Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain OT security policies, frameworks, and governance models aligned with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Lead OT cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation planning activities.
  • Support clients in achieving compliance with local and international cybersecurity regulations.

3. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of OT cybersecurity consultants and engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Build a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee performance management, team development, and resource allocation for client projects.

4. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client engagements, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with client engineering, operations, and IT teams to securely integrate cybersecurity controls within industrial environments.
  • Present complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

5. Project Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of cybersecurity projects across OT environments.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, evaluating third-party OT cybersecurity solutions for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement through service optimization, automation, and innovation.
  • Lead cyber awareness and training programs to improve OT personnel readiness and resilience.

Internal Relationships:

  • Technical Teams: Work with GRC, and engineering teams for cross-domain project execution.
  • Leadership: Provide regular reporting on project progress, risk posture, and client satisfaction.
  • Operations: Coordinate project resources and ensure quality delivery standards.

External Relationships:

  • Clients: Serve as the primary interface for OT cybersecurity projects, ensuring engagement success.
  • Vendors & Partners: Manage partnerships for OT products and service integration.
  • Regulatory Bodies: Liaise as needed to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Work Environment:

  • In Office: 60%
  • Out of Office (Client Sites / Field Work): 40%
  • Work Hazard: Normal industrial environment safety protocols apply.
  • Working Days: 5 days per week
  • Days Off: Friday & Saturday
  • Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 6 years focused on OT/ICS/SCADA cybersecurity.Proven experience managing cybersecurity service delivery teams and client engagements in consulting or industrial environments.Strong understanding of OT network architecture, industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, PROFINET), and secure design principles.Demonstrated success in implementing cybersecurity programs aligned with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 frameworks.Proficiency with security controls, IDS/IPS, firewalls, network segmentation, and vulnerability management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Certifications: GICSP, CISSP, CISM, IEC 62443, or equivalent.
