Job Description
To supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of all types of wood, ensure accurate inventory control, maintain quality and safety standards, and reduce losses through proper planning and supervision.
- Verify quantities and specifications of received wood materials.
- Supervise organized and safe storage of all wood types.
- Implement coding and classification systems for various wood types.
- Manage daily inbound and outbound wood transactions and update records accurately.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and analyze inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor issue orders and distribute wood to workshops or production lines.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and fire prevention standards.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff.
- Prepare daily and weekly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Coordinate with management to plan future wood material requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, or Engineering.Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in managing wood or construction material warehouses.Skills:Proficiency in Excel and ERP inventory systems.Knowledge of wood types and correct storage methods.Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
