  • He is responsible for the quality and accuracy of the executed Cadastral works and the required Cadastral data and information and collects the correct and sufficient Cadastral information and data and submits it to the project manager to make appropriate decisions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Studies and matches the engineering drawings with each other and makes sure that there are no conflicts and identifies queries if any
  • Prepares executive drawings of cadastral works ( boundaries of pits – backfill – settlements - replacement – concretions – roads – grids – landscape .... ) And submitted for approval from the consultant owner
  • Follows up and supervises the execution of the earthworks carried out by the subcontractor to ensure their suitability for delivery.
  • Performs engineering inventory of earthworks (excavation and backfill quantities) and submit it for approval from the consultant / owner
  • Makes a statement of work of earthworks subcontractors
  • Collects the daily requirements of the cadastral works from the various execution departments and distributes them to the cadastral crews under his supervision to execute them according to the schedule and with the required quality and accuracy
  • Coordinates with the execution manager regarding the priorities of the required works and methods of implementation
  • Adjusts and corrects the cadastral control points after lifting them from nature and takes the necessary measures to ensure their quality, accuracy and preservation
  • In case of signature: extracts the required Cadastral data and information from the engineering plates (coordinates and positions) and prepares them on the appropriate image for distribution to the cadastral crews for signing on site
  • In case of lifting, collects data and information from the site survey crews, then analyzes it and then produces the required maps and drawings
  • Submits applications for the delivery of cadastral works to the project consultant after confirming their authenticity for delivery
  • Collects Cadastral data and information from survey crews after lifting them from the site to prepare drawings of the status quo (as-built drawings) of the works performed and submits them to the consultant for approval
  • Provides appropriate solutions and proposals for Cadastral problems, if any (such as interference between structural elements – conflicts between panels – large differences in levels – interference in property - corruption and loss of cadastral control points ......)
  • Sends the survey devices for external calibration according to the calibration and maintenance plan and takes what is necessary to ensure their safety and preservation
  • Manages more than one project spatially when needed
  • Assists the space manager in preparing the work plan and provides him with the information and data required to make decisions
  • Deputizes for the space manager in case of his absence


 


Qualifications:Education & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Professional license or certification in land surveying or cadastral work is preferred (e.g. Licensed Surveyor, Registered Surveyor, or local equivalent).Certification in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant CAD/GIS software is an advantage.Experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in cadastral surveying, land surveying, or related engineering fields.Proven experience in supervising cadastral and earthworks activities on construction or infrastructure projects.Experience preparing as-built drawings and engineering reports.Familiarity with coordinating between site teams, consultants, and project management.Technical Skills:Excellent knowledge of surveying principles, instruments, and methods (total station, GPS, levels, laser scanners, etc.).Strong skills in preparing and reading engineering and cadastral drawings.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and surveying software.Understanding of geodetic control networks, coordinate systems, and transformations.Ability to perform quantity calculations for earthworks and prepare related documentation.Knowledge of standards and regulations related to cadastral and land surveying.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in resolving drawing conflicts or discrepancies.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordination with project managers, consultants, and field crews.Attention to detail is required to ensure data accuracy and quality in all surveying work.Ability to work independently and lead survey teams on-site.
