- Translate written documents, emails, and reports from Chinese to English and vice versa with high accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Interpret spoken conversations and meetings between Chinese and English speakers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Review and proofread translated materials to maintain consistency, tone, and context.
- Collaborate with various departments to support business operations, negotiations, and client communications.
- Assist in the localization of marketing materials, product manuals, and technical documents for Chinese-speaking markets.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company data protection policies.
- Stay updated on industry terminology and language trends to ensure translations are current and relevant.
- Provide language support during business trips, conferences, and virtual meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain a glossary of commonly used terms and phrases for internal reference.
- Support the training of staff on basic Chinese language skills and cultural etiquette.
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of professional experience as a translator or interpreter.Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to translate complex documents accurately and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Familiarity with translation software and tools.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.Willingness to work onsite in an office environment.
