Payroll Supervisor

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
  • Review and verify payroll data, including timesheets, wage calculations, deductions, and bonuses for compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities as required.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure alignment of payroll data with employee records and financial statements.
  • Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations, implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance.
  • Train, mentor, and support payroll staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audits and ensure all payroll documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and recommend system enhancements for greater efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of proven experience in payroll administration or supervision.Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Experience working in an office-based, fast-paced environment.
