- Develop detailed electrical designs and layouts for building services and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations for various systems including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, plumbing, and civil engineers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical installations and gather data for new design projects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, bill of quantities, and tender documents for electrical works
- Ensure all electrical designs adhere to local codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client use.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 1 to 3 years of professional experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within consulting services sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other electrical design software. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Experience preparing technical documentation and reports. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to conduct site visits and occasional travel as required.
