Accountant (On-site, New Administrative Capital)

  • Manage day-to-day accounting: journal entries, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly closing: trial balance, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  • Handle tuition billing, collections, refunds, scholarships/discounts; reconcile with Admissions.
  • Coordinate payroll with Human Resources: process monthly salaries, overtime, deductions, incentives, social insurance, and taxes; ensure timely, accurate disbursement and records.
  • Manage petty cash and expense claims; ensure proper documentation and approvals.
  • Assist with budgets, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, taxes, and social insurance; support audits and statutory filings.
  • Maintain accurate, organized accounting records and produce weekly financial reports.

 

Compensation

  • Salary range: 15,000–22,000 Egyptian Pounds gross per month (based on experience).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2–3 years of accounting experience; education sector experience is a plus.Solid knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and tax (value-added tax, payroll tax, withholding tax).Proficient in Excel and accounting software; strong reconciliation and attention to detail.Good English and Arabic communication; high integrity and confidentiality.Ability to work on-site, with occasional extended hours at month-end.
