Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and control expenses to ensure compliance with the approved budget
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and hotel policies
Handle internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulations
Oversee inventory reconciliations with Stores and Purchasing departments
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for cost optimization
Prepare forecasts and budgets, and provide variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of accounting experience in hotels or hospitality, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems
Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
