We are expanding our in-house digital team and looking for a highly experienced WordPress professional to take on a hands-on leadership role. You will lead a small team of 2 developers while actively working on advanced WordPress development projects yourself.
Important: This is an in-person, full-time position based in Heliopolis, Cairo. Remote/online work is not possible.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 WordPress developers.
- Stay hands-on: design, build, and optimize custom WordPress websites.
- Develop custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
Extensive WordPress experience (8+ years).Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and WordPress hooks/filters.Proven experience with WooCommerce, custom post types, ACF, and multisite environments.Experience with Git, WP-CLI, Composer, and other developer tools.Solid understanding of hosting environments, DNS, and server optimization.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality solutions.Previous experience leading or mentoring developers is a plus.Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
