- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and records in accordance with company policies.
- Support the implementation of new financial processes and technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an office-based setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.Experience in software industry or food and beverage is a plus.
