Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and own the product roadmap. ensuring alignment with the business model’s revenue streams, customer segments, and key activities.
- Identify new features, integrations, and partnerships to expand platform reach (e.g., APIs to job portals, CRM, and certification bodies).
- Align platform development with EU TVET and EQF Level 3–6 requirements, including micro-credential frameworks and SQMS standards.
Platform Development & Lifecycle Management
- Lead LMS development and customization (Workseed and other integrated tools), ensuring mobile usability, multilingual support, and offline access options.
- Manage backlog and feature releases in collaboration with IT, instructional designers, and external tech partners.
- Ensure seamless integration of learning content, certification systems, analytics dashboards, and labor mobility tools.
Market & User Insight
- Conduct regular labor market intelligence research to adapt content and features to demand-led skills.
- Map user journeys for learners, trainers, institutions, and employers; optimize UX for each segment.
- Oversee feedback loops, learner satisfaction monitoring, and platform performance metrics.
Partnership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the product focal point for key partners.
- Coordinate technical onboarding and training for partner institutions and government clients.
- Manage co-creation of sector-specific content with employers and industry federations.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Embed SQMS processes into platform workflows, including content validation, trainer quality checks, and certification compliance.
- Ensure data security, GDPR compliance, and adherence to EU-aligned accreditation standards.
Revenue Enablement
- Design product features that enable monetization streams: subscription tiers, licensing packages, certification fees, and premium add-ons.
- Support institutional sales and donor project bids with product specifications, demos, and costing models.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Management, Business Administration, Educational Technology, or related field.Minimum 7 years’ experience in product management, ideally in EdTech, LMS platforms, or vocational training systems.Proven track record of delivering multi-stakeholder digital platforms in international or donor-funded contexts.Experience with competency-based learning frameworks, micro-credentials, and/or international certification systems.Strong understanding of EU TVET standards, EQF levels, and labor market alignment.
