Architectural Technical Office Team leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the technical office team responsible for architectural works.
  • Review, check, and approve architectural shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design intent, contract documents, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, project managers, and site teams to resolve technical discrepancies and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of RFIs (Requests for Information) to clarify design details where necessary.
  • Review material submittals and samples to ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain updated logs of shop drawings, approvals, and revisions in coordination with document control.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site execution teams for architectural and fit-out works.
  • Monitor deadlines for shop drawing submissions and approvals to avoid project delays.
  • Conduct periodic coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design/technical issues.

Bachelor’s degree in architecture.Minimum [10–12] years of experience in architectural technical office roles, with at least [3–5] years in a leadership/team leader position within fit-out contracting companies Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design/coordination software.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a technical team.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
