- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and analyzing relevant financial data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and report on project costs, supporting project managers with financial insights.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of efficient accounting procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
