-Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger
-Review financial statements and reporting on any errors or anomalies in accounting methodology.
-Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
-Handle quarterly and annual closings.
-Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion.
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external auditors.
-Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning
-Mentor, coach, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
-Sap knowledge
-Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards, IFRS, Egyptian Tax laws, and tax saving strategies, with 6-8 years of experience.-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA, or CMA -Research and report writing skills -Problem solving and decision making -Change Management -PC literate with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
