- Design, program, and commission BMS systems to optimize building operations and energy efficiency
- Develop automated control sequences and logic for HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAV boxes, and other HVAC components
- Configure BMS software, field controllers, sensors, and actuators to achieve desired building automation functionality
- Integrate BMS systems with other building systems such as access control, fire alarms, and metering
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BMS and HVAC control systems
- Provide technical support and training to facility management and operations staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, mechanical engineers, and technicians
- Document all programming, configuration, and commissioning work for future reference
Minimum 2 years of experience programming and configuring BMS and HVAC control systemsProficient in BMS software such as (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls) and programming methodsStrong understanding of HVAC system components, control strategies, and integration principlesFamiliarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works) and network infrastructureAbility to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control system drawingsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilities to liaise with clients and project teamsWillingness to travel to project sites as needed.
