Key Responsibilities:
• Study and analyze tender documents, drawings, and project specifications.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, etc.).
• Coordinate with design and procurement teams to gather necessary data.
• Review suppliers’ and subcontractors’ quotations for technical compliance and cost competitiveness.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in response to RFPs.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and value engineering proposals.
• Ensure timely submission of bids and proper documentation.
• Maintain updated database of prices and suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.• 6–8 years of experience in tendering for mechanical systems within construction or contracting firms.• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and tendering software (e.g., CCS, Candy) is a plus.• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
