What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel
- Optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and queries for high performance
- Integrate with payment gateways, third-party services, and AI systems
- Architect real-time, queue-based features (e.g., kitchen order notifications, reservations)
- Build resilient systems with Queue, Events, Notifications
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
- Enforce best practices: TDD, CI/CD (GitLab CI/Jenkins), automated testing
- Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment pipelines
5+ years of experience in PHP, especially LaravelProven track record building RESTful APIs and real-time systemsStrong SQL skills; experience with database optimization & migrationsFamiliarity with queues, task scheduling, and event-driven architecturesKnowledge of payment gateway integration (e.g., Stripe, Fawry) preferredHands-on with test frameworks (PHPUnit), CI/CD, version control (Git)Cloud deployment experience (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBonus: Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AI/ML integration, frontend basics
