Service Spare Parts Demand Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting:
    • Analyze sales data and service trends to forecast spare parts demand.
    • Update forecasts frequently to align with market changes.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure parts supply meets service requirements.
    • Follow up on backorders from dealers and communicate ETA updates.
  • Cost Optimization:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to reduce operating costs through improved planning and process efficiency.
  • Master Data Management:
    • Maintain and regularly update Master Data to ensure accuracy in reporting and decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations and resolve issues promptly.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.Experience: Proven experience not less than 4 years in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles within the spare parts/service industry is preferred.Decision-Making: Ability to make informed and timely decisions based on data analysis.Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Negotiation Skills: Capable of managing supplier and dealer negotiations effectively.Software Proficiency: Skilled in using planning software and tools for data analysis.Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Financial Planning: Understanding of financial metrics to support cost reduction and budgeting initiatives.
