Pre Sales Engineer

  • Provide High and Low-level designs based on customer needs.
  • Participates in and updates Site Surveys as required to implement designed solutions (HLD, LLD).
  • Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration and/or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems.
  • Work with the team to design highly technical solutions and identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).                                     
  • Review and approve the technical components of the proposals ensuring the efficient integration of all configured solutions, before submission to the sales team for final compilation.                                        
  • Provides expertise for resolving technical problems.
  • Communicate with Sales, PMs and Technical teams to gather insights and information on different aspects such as clients’ needs and projects challenges which can be an added value to the offering’s portfolio or changes in the proposal.
  • Provides end-user training on the company network portfolio.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Support by responding effectively to RFIs/RFPs that include post-tender activity.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Conduct client site surveys to ensure a proper understanding of the project scope.
  • Produce technical content for client proposals including scope, conceptual design, bill of materials, and pricing.
  • Provide smooth transition from sales to post sales delivery teams. This means participating in design reviews and project planning meetings.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Monitor customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
  • Troubleshoot network problems, faults and incidents and providing a full report of the whole process.    
  • Provide new tactics and strategies in implementation and design process.
  • Provide remote support to end-users or for customers during installation
  • Implement and install Network devices, switches, routers, wireless access points, Firewalls to meet client needs and solution proposed plus documentations.
  • Providing technical support, remote support, and assistance to customers through Ticketing system software.
  • May perform other duties as requested not specifically addressed in this document

Bachelor of Engineering or any equivalent discipline.2 Years minimum experience as network engineer/presales engineer.Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Have a deep technical Knowledge with network Technologies.Well organized and detailed oriented.Excellent time management.Excellent communication, reading, and understanding skills.Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.Continuous and self-learning.Experienced with cisco network devicesExperienced with troubleshooting tools.CCNA, CCNP knowledge is a must.Fortinet product knowledge is preferred.
