  •  Ability to develop new export strategies and expand into new markets.                                                  Identify target international markets and create market entry plans.
    Develop and implement export policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    Monitor global market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Building Relationships & Managing International Clients
    Negotiate with international clients and agents on payment and delivery terms.
    Develop strong relationships with global trade partners and distributors.
    Resolve any issues related to shipping, customs, or supply chain disruptions. 
  •  Managing Export and Shipping Operations
    Oversee shipping and customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
    Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    Optimize shipping methods and select the most cost-effective and efficient transportation options.
  •  Preparing Export Documentation
    Ensure all required export documents are properly prepared, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
    Maintain compliance with import/export regulations for each destination country.
    Stay updated on any changes in customs regulations that may impact export operations.
  • Pricing & Cost Analysis
    Determine export pricing based on shipping costs, customs duties, and market competition.
    Analyze freight costs and find ways to minimize logistics expenses.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    Prepare regular reports on export performance and international sales.
    Provide insights and recommendations to improve export strategies and market share.
  •  Strong connections with local shipping agents and knowledge of the best shipping routes to Algerian ports.


     

Work experience as Export Manager 5-10 years of experience.Deep understanding of customs clearance procedures, both locally and internationally.Strong knowledge of maritime, air, and land shipping methods, including freight rates and logistics trends.Experience working with major global shipping companies like DHL, FedEx, Aramex, and UPS, as well as sea freight providers.Ability to lead and manage a logistics team to ensure smooth operations. Strong negotiation skills to secure the best shipping rates and terms. Expertise in optimizing shipping processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Experience in reporting and tracking shipments, managing inventory, and troubleshooting logistics issues.Hands-on experience with ERP systems and shipping management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other specialized platforms).Strong ability to analyze export data, track costs, and explore new market opportunities.Familiarity with customs tariffs, documentation requirements, and shipping schedules.Solid understanding of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and international trade laws.Knowledge of customs regulations, including duties, tariffs, and import/export documentation.Experience handling Letters of Credit (LCs), advance payments, and bank guarantees.Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and their application in export contracts.Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Fluency in French (preferred) for smooth communication with Algerian partners is an advantage
