Assistant Category Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Category Marketing Assistant Manager role is to in plan and implement the marketing strategies and campaigns alongside the Category Marketing Manager. This position is a crucial role in the management of product categories. He/ She will monitor marketing campaigns' progress and results to gather data to help improve performance.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Category Strategy:

  • Implement category strategy in line with company and brand strategies. 
  • Assist Category Marketing Manager in developing category annual operational plans (AOP) in line with company guidelines.

Category Performance:

  • Constantly analyze brand and market research data to monitor performance against KPIs & Propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor category performance vis a vis plans. 
  • Conduct frequent consumer and market visits to monitor trade and consumers response to implemented activities. 

Marketing Activities Planning & Budgeting:

  • Implement annual plans to support category objectives & strategy based on approved budget. 
  • Assist Category Marketing Manager in leading the category innovation process and innovation deployment plans and lead assigned innovation projects.
  • Communicate with Marcom team and Advertising Agencies for communication & activation development. 

 


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar field. Excellent proficiency in English language.Being a catalyst for change and passionate for growth.A team player with a high level of dedication.Has a strong influential personality.Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving and creativity. Strong analytical and reporting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage.
