Educational Technology Program Manager (Universities Only)

  • Develop and define Program Scope, Goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. 
  • Create detailed plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources allocation.
  • Identify, assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Work with the academic leaders and administrators to define program objectives, including the integration of new technologies into the curriculum, student services, and research initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the execution of IT programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget. 
  • Oversee the implementation of educational technology solutions, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ensure the alignment of the curriculum with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the institution in external academic forums, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Track Program Progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules and resource utilization to ensure efficient program execution 
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
  • Manage changes to program scope, schedule and costs using appropriate change control processes.
  • Resolve conflicts and address issues that arise during program execution.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place to deliver high quality technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in IT Program Management.
  • Develop and implement best practices, tools and templates for program management.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the educational field to drive continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in IT, CS, Education, or related field.Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Information Systems, Education Leadership, or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) from PMI. (Preferable)5-7 years in IT program/project management, preferably in education.Strategic Thinking and planning.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong focus on delivering results and meeting expectations.Adaptability and willingness to embrace changeCommitment to fostering innovation and continuous improvement
