- Coordinate and manage the customs clearance activities for imports and exports.
- Prepare customs documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping declarations.
- Classify goods according to customs tariff codes and ensure accurate declaration.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to facilitate clearance processes.
- Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and import/export restrictions.
- Calculate and process customs duties, taxes, and fees.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and actively communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Resolve any customs-related issues or disputes that may arise during the clearance process.
- Maintain proper records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and finance to streamline operations.
“ Preferred White License”
Relevant certifications in customs clearance could be an advantage.Previous experience in customs clearance or related field.Sound knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements. Familiarity with customs codes and tariff classifications.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in using customs clearance software or systems.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customs-related issues efficiently.Knowledge of trade agreements, preferential trade programs, and free trade zones is a plus“ Preferred White License”
