Tourism Operations Manager

     1-Tour Package Design & Sales:

  • Develop and manage outbound tour packages, including specialized offerings such as honeymoon, adventure, and luxury travel.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, such as Systems, airlines, and tour operators, to ensure competitive rates and excellent service.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of compelling travel packages and itineraries for individual and group travelers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and ethical business practices.
       
    2-Aviation Expertise:
  • Utilize aviation knowledge to design air-inclusive travel packages
  • Coordinate with airlines for flight bookings, group bookings, and ticketing processes
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to aviation safety regulations and protocols

    3-Local Market Hotel Reservations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with local hotels, ensuring availability for customers.
  • Negotiate contracts with local accommodations, securing competitive rates and exclusive offers.
  • Handle all aspects of local hotel reservations for inbound travelers or special event clients.

    4-Operations Management:
  • Manage and lead a team of travel professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee day-to-day travel operations, ensuring smooth execution of all travel-related services.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction

    5-Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote travel packages and services
  • Participate in travel expos, fairs, and events to expand the customer base
  • Monitor market trends, analyze industry data, and identify opportunities for business growth and product development.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance, including sales revenue, profit margins, and cost control.
  • Manage booking systems, payments, and client records efficiently.

Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tourism operations, with specific expertise in aviation and outbound travelStrong knowledge of the local and international tourism market, industry trends, and customer preferences.Proven experience in designing and selling honeymoon and other specialized tour packages.Proven track record of successfully managing teams, achieving business targets, and driving revenue growth.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesAwareness of ticketing via Amadeus system Basic & Advanced minimum 5 yearsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, partners, and team members.Proficiency in travel management software, online booking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
