Jameel Motors seeking a skilled Workshop Diagnostic Engineer to join our team in Obour. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. You will work closely with the workshop team to ensure timely and accurate repairs, maintain equipment, and provide technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to automotive service teams and clients regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex automotive issues related to engine, transmission, electrical systems, suspension, and other mechanical components.
- Collaborate with service engineers, mechanics, and other technicians to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Review and analyze diagnostic reports and data to identify and resolve faults effectively.
- Provide training and support to automotive teams on using diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including repair guides, service bulletins, and technical manuals.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentExperience: Minimum of 4 years in the automotive industry in same role.Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostics.Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and software.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and manufacturers.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with automotive standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.Willingness to travel for on-site technical support when required.
