Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting within our company, from raw material procurement (quarrying) to finished product delivery and installation. You will play a key role in implementing and optimizing our ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, to streamline cost tracking and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cost Management & Analysis:
• Develop and maintain accurate product/service costing models (incl. raw materials, processing, overhead, labor, sales, distribution, installation).
• Conduct cost variance analysis, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports (product costs, COGS, overhead variances, job costs, profitability).
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements for cost efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and implement best practices in cost accounting and inventory management.
• Inventory Management:
• Contribute to developing & implementing inventory management policies/procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels & analyze inventory turnover.
• Identify & address inventory discrepancies.
• ERP Implementation & Optimization:
• Manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation & optimization, focusing on cost accounting modules.
• Monitor system performance & identify areas for improvement.
• Team Management:
• Supervise & mentor a team of cost accountants.
• Foster a positive & collaborative work environment.
