1- Cooperates with R&D team and other departments to create new products and/or system.
2- Redesign existing products to enhance functionality and/or reduce cost.
3- Create and manage projects and setting specifications.
4- Present product design to management.
5- Oversee the engineering of product Prototypes.
6- Testing prototype products for functionality and ease of use.
7- Resolve product issues.
8- Create 3D models and shop drawings for new products and/or systems.
9- Revise Junior Engineers output.
10- Ensure department documentation are following standards.
11- Contact with Research Centers For testing & verification of Acrow products.
- BS in Mechanical engineering.- 1 to 3 years of experience in product design.- SolidWorks and AutoCAD Proficiency is a must.- Good knowledge of engineering materials and their applications.- Good knowledge of various manufacturing process (welding, Forming, Machining…Etc.)- Good Knowledge of engineering drawing review.- Familiar with Acrow Systems.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.- Experience in conducting research in various engineering fields and reading standard codes.
