Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical office team in the execution of architectural projects, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.
- Review and analyze architectural contract documents, specifications, drawings, and quantity schedules for accuracy and feasibility.
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material take-offs.
- Interpret architectural designs and specifications, providing expert insights to ensure adherence to quality and project requirements.
- Manage coordination with suppliers and subcontractors to streamline bid submissions and align with project execution timelines.
- Develop precise cost estimates for architectural components and provide budget management insights.
- Oversee the creation and finalization of procurement packages for architectural project elements.
- Monitor and approve invoice processing for subcontractors and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and stakeholders to address project dynamics and resolve challenges.
- Maintain and improve document control processes, ensuring proper archiving and coordination of all project-related documentation.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical departments to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering skill development and teamwork.
- Generate comprehensive reports on project progress, technical evaluations, and challenges for senior management.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. - 5–10 years of experience in architectural technical office work, with a proven track record in leading technical teams and managing complex projects. - Expertise in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and proficiency with project management tools and the Microsoft Office suite. - Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. - In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and standards. - Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and provide strategic insights to improve project delivery. - Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and fostering continuous professional development.
