Presales training Content Consultant
The Presales Training Content Consultant partners with corporate and government clients to assess their learning and development (L&D) needs. This role involves recommending tailored training content providers and solutions to create impactful training programs. Working closely with internal sales teams and client L&D departments, the consultant ensures successful implementation and long-term program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Needs Assessment
- Conduct detailed analyses to understand client training goals and identify gaps in existing programs.
- Collaborate with client L&D departments to gather insights and align solutions with organizational objectives.
- Develop and present customized learning strategies tailored to client needs.
Solution Design and Recommendation
- Recommend suitable training providers and solutions, including e-learning, in-person, or blended learning approaches.
- Prepare detailed proposals outlining learning solutions, implementation timelines, and expected outcomes.
- Deliver presentations to clients and address questions or concerns.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work with internal sales teams to align client needs with training products and services.
- Coordinate with external training providers to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Facilitate communication between clients, internal teams, and training providers to ensure smooth execution.
Sales and Pipeline Management
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for training solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the training content portfolio.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue projections.
Implementation and Ongoing Support
- Assist clients with the implementation of training solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide ongoing support to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collect client feedback to continuously refine service offerings.
Market and Product Expertise
- Stay informed about trends in corporate training and development.
- Monitor new and emerging training technologies and providers.
- Share insights with internal teams to enhance overall service delivery.

QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.A Master’s degree in Learning and Development, Educational Technology, or related disciplines is preferred.ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in L&D roles, preferably in a corporate setting.Proven expertise in conducting needs analyses and implementing successful training programs.Familiarity with diverse learning methods, such as e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning.Technical ProficiencyExperience with Learning Management Systems.Familiarity with instructional design tools.Knowledge of analytics tools for evaluating training program outcomes
