- Develop the Category agenda for all trade channels to support long term growth and profitably increase market share based on shopper and customer requirements.
- Provide Market Mancom a fact-based assessment and recommended prioritization of channels along with strategies for exploiting high-level opportunities and resolving high level issues.
- Develop channel strategies and own the sales commercial planning process and ensure sales and marketing planning objectives, strategies and tactics are closely aligned through integrated planning process.
- Manage trade activities including tailor made promotions and evaluate all trade promotions to ensure the effectiveness of trade investment.
- Provide insight on Channel trends including shopper behavior and channel drivers for Sales & Marketing.
- Builds clear vision on the ideal POP for relevant channels based on shopper understanding and its execution.
- Development of merchandising guidelines/Direction, including permanent POP materials display recommendations, and Plan-o-gram by channel in line with POP & Brand Vision and Objectives.
- Ensure that NPD initiatives fall in place with regards to channel requirements with primary focus on price and margins strategy.
- Acquire and communicate necessary knowledge with regards to competition and marketplace hence ensuring the possibility of reacting to competitors long/short term initiatives.
- Lead the discussion in the monthly sales review meeting.
- Collect and prepare information for sales uplift.
- Review the sales forecast.
- Recommend action plans to close gaps.
- Lead, coach, and direct the trade marketing to achieve the agreed-on objectives and Channel activities plans on time.
- Ensure Budget optimization & Control.
- Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies. "GDPR, CL TA and ABC"
Qualifications - Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in Trade Marketing and/or Marketing with Sales experience or exhibits strong functional skill and leadership capabilities.
