The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainability initiatives, managing environmental impact, ensuring employee engagement in sustainable practices, and overseeing events related to sustainability efforts.

1. Sustainable Strategy Development:
   • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainable development strategy aligned with the company's mission and values.
   • Identify key areas for improvement and innovation to enhance company sustainability profile.
2. Climate Change Mitigation:
   • Research and assess the impact of climate change on the insurance industry and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
   • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate climate-conscious practices into business operations.
3. Environmental Impact Management:
   • Monitor and evaluate the environmental impact of company operations and propose strategies for reduction and offsetting.
   • Implement initiatives to promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable resource management.
4. Employee Engagement:
   • Develop and execute programs to enhance employee awareness and engagement in sustainable practices.
   • Encourage a culture of responsibility by promoting eco-friendly behaviors and initiatives within the workplace.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with external stakeholders, NGOs, and government bodies to strengthen partnerships in sustainable development.
   • Represent company in sustainability forums and initiatives.
6. Events Coordination and Handling:
   • Coordinate and organize internal and external events related to sustainability, including workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns.
   • Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sustainability-related events.
7. Reporting and Compliance:
   • Prepare regular reports on sustainability metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
   • Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations and standards.
   • Coordinate and submit reports to the United Nations on sustainable development goals (SDGs) progress.
8. UN and Internal Reporting:
   • Prepare and submit periodic reports to the United Nations on company sustainability efforts and contributions to global goals.
   • Generate internal reports as needed, providing insights into sustainability performance and recommending improvements.
