Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions (agents, property managers, administrative staff, etc.).
- Manage job postings, coordinate interviews, and assist with candidate selection.
- Build and maintain relationships with staffing agencies, universities, and other recruitment channels.
- Ensure the hiring process is efficient, timely, and compliant with regulations.
2. Employee Onboarding & Training:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the company culture.
- Coordinate training and professional development programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Ensure employees receive the necessary resources and information for a smooth transition.
3. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and suggestions.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
4. Performance Management & Development:
- Implement performance appraisal systems and assist managers in setting clear goals and expectations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and staff on performance improvement.
- Recommend promotions, salary increases, and other performance-based incentives.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
- Manage compensation structures to ensure competitiveness in the real estate market.
- Administer benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, etc.).
- Conduct salary benchmarking and make recommendations for adjustments to maintain equity and competitiveness.
6. Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including fair housing laws and employment standards.
- Develop, implement, and update company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and best practices.
7. Health & Safety:
- Oversee workplace health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA and local safety standards.
- Address any employee concerns regarding workplace safety and wellness.
- Promote programs that support employee well-being, including stress management and work-life balance initiatives.
8. HR Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR management systems.
- Prepare HR reports, including turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.
- Analyze HR data to recommend improvements to the company’s HR strategy.
9. Organizational Development:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align the human resources strategy with the company’s long-term goals.
- Support change management efforts as the organization adapts to growth or new market demands.
- Assist in succession planning and leadership development within the organization.
Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Experience in the real estate or property management industry preferred.Knowledge of real estate-specific regulations, such as fair housing laws and licensing requirements, is a plus.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
