The Accounting Manager in the oil and gas industry oversees accounting operations, ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations, and leads the accounting team. This role requires expertise in Odoo ERP to streamline and optimize accounting processes.
Job Description:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, banks, general ledger, and payroll.
- Optimize and oversee Odoo ERP for financial reporting, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to customize and enhance Odoo ERP functionalities to align with company needs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Coordinate external and internal audits and address findings effectively.
- Oversee the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of accounting staff's work with relevant standards.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian laws and recommend necessary policy updates.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CMA qualification preferred).12-15 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.Extensive experience in electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) in Egypt, ensuring compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority's regulations and seamless integration of e-invoicing systems within Odoo ERP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Odoo ERP.Experience in the oil and gas sector is highly preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and leadership abilities.Exceptional communication and coaching skills.Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
