GOOD ADVICE UK is hiring Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will assist with setting up and updating HR systems for clients, monitor and maintain accurate records of employee attendance, absences, and working hours. The role includes conducting right-to-work checks, monitoring visa and immigration statuses, and supporting with the management of the employee database for clients with focus on migrants’ documents and details.
Mandatory requirements to be shortlisted for interview:
Working hours: 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM UK Time, Monday to Friday. (Remote)
Equipment: A Desktop with 2 monitors is a must.
Dedication: this is a full-time job that requires your attention through the daily working hours.
Salary: £500.00, non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with sponsorship and immigration requirements for clients’ sponsored employees.
- Conduct Right to Work checks, ensuring all clients’ employees have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Monitor and track immigration status, visa expiration dates, and work permit renewals for clients.
- Maintain and update the employee database, ensuring all records are up to date.
- Follow with clients/companies to record employee absences and holidays on the system.
- Draft job descriptions for future employees with correct SOC codes.
- Assist with preparing reports for internal audits and external agencies regarding sponsorship and immigration compliance.
- Draft reminders to clients with ongoing updates to ensure compliance with guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law and/or Public Administration. Alternatively, a Diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration with relevant experience can also be acceptable.Fluent English Speaker with excellent writing skills (C2).Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple accounts and work to tight deadlines.At least 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative or HR Personnel Assistant role is desirable.Familiarity with HR policies related to absence, attendance, and leave management.Human Resources (HR) and Administrative Assistance skillsCustomer service expertiseExperience in executive administrative tasksAbility to work effectively in a teamAttention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of HR software and systems
