- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to optimize the use of available funds.
- Develop strategies for managing excess cash and short-term investments.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize services and secure favorable terms.
- Negotiate credit lines, financing terms, and interest rates.
- Implement and manage cash management systems to ensure accurate tracking of cash inflows and outflows.
- Ensure proper management of bank accounts, payments, and collections.
- Identify financial risks related to liquidity and currency exposure and implement hedging strategies where necessary.
- Establish internal controls to safeguard company assets and cash.
- Lead the collections team to ensure the timely collection of accounts receivable and minimize overdue debts.
- Implement collection strategies and set credit policies to manage overdue payments.
- Develop aging reports and take appropriate action for overdue accounts.
- Work with the sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and facilitate smooth collections.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers when needed.
- Regularly report on the status of collections, overdue accounts, and aging balances to senior management.
- Analyze collection trends and propose strategies to improve collections performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CTP) is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, collections, or finance management, preferably in a managerial role.Proven experience in cash flow management, collections, and risk management.Strong knowledge of treasury management systems, banking operations, and financial regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
