Company Description:
The Garments Group is a dynamic and innovative company based in New Cairo, specializing in managing online brand sales for a diverse range of clients. As leaders in e-commerce, we own several clothing brands, including STPS and Cloud, focusing on significant retail expansion with the goal of opening two new stores each quarter.
Your role is crucial in bringing our fashion collections to life. You'll be the bridge between design and manufacturing, ensuring garments are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales forecasts, purchase orders, and production capacity to develop production plans.
- Source and negotiate with potential suppliers for materials, trims, and manufacturing.
- Schedule production timelines, factoring in lead times for materials, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Communicate effectively with designers, merchandisers, and factories to ensure smooth production flow.
- Manage inventory levels to avoid stock outs or overstock.
- Track production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare production reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and factories.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in production planning.
Requirements: Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience with production planning software and ERP system (a plus).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Knowledge of quality control standards and production optimization techniques.Prior experience in the fashion or apparel industry is a must.
