Regional Supply Chain Manager

  • Forecasting: Translating Category strategy to shipment volumes via utilizing historical trends and quantifying key building blocks and sales expansion strategies. 
    Supply: 
    - For Finished Products & Raw materials: Establish required inventory levels needed to achieve required service targets, incorporating sourcing lead times, and carrier performance, and replenish timely all required products.
    - Define trigger points for creating orders for replenishments. 
    - Replenish timely inline with supply chain strategy to avoid material runout and shelf out of stock at customers. 
  • Raw Materials: Engage with suppliers to review key KPIs as service, reaction time, quality and define innovative solutions for continuous improvement on quality and cost. Establish required inventory levels needed to achieve required service targets, incorporating sourcing lead times, and carrier performance.
  • Logistics: 
    - Plan and coordinate the logistics activities associated with material sourcing to achieve optimal cost and delivery. 
    - Define and contract shipping carriers to enable fast and cost-efficient shipments of imported products and RPM. 
    - Define and contract local trucking carriers to enable inland transportation. 
    - Engage with required authorities to enable clearance at the port and final clearance to market. 
    - Optimize warehouse functions and monitor logistics to ensure smooth cost-efficient operations.
    - Manage Warehouse in terms of FIFO (First in First out), with minimal damages and throwaway.
  • Leadership: 
    - Supervise Warehousing, Purchasing, and Regulatory Affairs teams – improving workflow via solid processes, work plans, and follow through.
    - Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
    - Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
    - Partner with suppliers and toll manufacturers to ensure all operations (e.g. manufacturing, shipping, delivery, etc.) meet legal, quality, and safety standards as well as land more profitable deals.
    - Regularly meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, and discuss production forecasts or changes.
  • Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.
     

As an overarching responsibility of the Supply Chain Manager, he/she will be accountable for developing, re-iterating forecasts, and ensuring a steady supply of Finished goods and Raw material sourcing to contract manufacturers to enable the delivery of the organization’s strategy in terms of sales growth and profit recognition.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain.7-10 years of relevant work experience in managerial roles. Pharma industry experience is preferred.Proficient in standard logistics softwareProven record of successful distribution and logistics managementAbility to work independently and handle multiple projectsCommunication SkillsLeadershipStrong communication skills
