The FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis processes. This role involves financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Budgeting: Assist in the annual budgeting process, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of budget presentations. Track budget performance throughout the year and provide variance explanations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and key performance metrics. Communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- Decision Support: Provide analytical support to management on strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate FP&A processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to gather data and insights for financial analysis.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems and reports.
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience: +5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel skills (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and macros).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.
