- Displaying a comprehensive understanding of company policies, regulations, and warehouse management guidelines, and ensuring their accurate implementation.
- Participate in the selection and training of storekeepers, ensuring they understand and adhere to their role functions, company regulations, and store management.
- Manage, oversee, and organize storekeepers, allocating them to work sites based on workload and their level of expertise.
- Keep track of storekeeper KPIs and provide the necessary support and training to address any shortcomings.
- Ensure warehouse procedures, occupational safety, and HSE standards are accurate.
- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for the sites’ materials.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse inventory.
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained.
- Periodic inventory of raw materials and comparing them to the warehouse management platform, vouchers, and inventory item cards.
- Reporting on warehouse balances, areas of concern, and action plans on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Taking part in periodic, semi-annual, and annual inventory counts.
- Support during periods of work stress, as well as work as a replacement on vacations of the storekeepers if necessary.
- Receiving other departments' requests and complaints related to warehouse management and working to resolve them.
Supervisory Skills and experience in supervising staff.Similar experience between 3-5 years.Having experience in the construction field is a Must.Knowledge of Inventory Control and forklift operation.Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyHands-on in utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar platforms)Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Organizational and time management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
