Chemist Sales and Technical Engineer (Lubricants)

Job Summary:
As a Chemist Sales and Technical Engineer at Elmolla Group, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise, supporting the sales team, and engaging directly with clients to implement lubrication solutions tailored to their industry-specific needs. You will play a key role in troubleshooting, applying, and recommending lubricants and related products, ensuring product performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support and Application Engineering:
    • Assess and recommend the correct lubricant formulations for applications in industries such as construction, metalworking, pipe, textile, glass, steel, oil & gas, and cement.
    • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of lubricant products.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of Elmolla Group’s lubricant product range, specifications, and applications.
    • Educate clients and internal sales teams on product benefits, application methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, offering solutions that align with their operational requirements.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive support, addressing product inquiries, and assisting with technical challenges.
  • Sales Strategy and Growth Support:
    • Support the sales team with technical presentations and insights to close sales, particularly in industries where technical expertise is valued.
    • Work with sales teams to identify potential opportunities, generate leads, and grow market presence.
  • Industry Research and Product Development:
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the lubricants sector.
    • Provide insights to the R&D team to aid in product development and to address market demands.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Assist with product testing and quality assurance to ensure products meet client and industry standards.
    • Collect and report on performance data, contributing to the continuous improvement of our product offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in a technical role within the lubricants or chemicals industry, with hands-on experience in customer support and sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with a range of industrial sectors and understanding of machinery and lubricant applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of lubrication science, product formulations, and application methods.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driving license; willing to travel within Egypt.
