Technical Support Engineer

Job Purpose:


The Technical Support Engineer is a vital member of the IT team, responsible for providing administrative and technical assistance to support seamless technology operations within Floward. This role involves managing and addressing routine user issues, offering first-level troubleshooting, and ensuring effective tracking and resolution of technical issues. Additionally, the Technical Support Engineer will work closely with both users and the engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient resolution of IT support requests, enhancing user experience and overall operational productivity.


Responsibilities:


Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the IT department and operations, addressing routine user issues related to computers and systems.
  • Offer guidance for basic network troubleshooting and provide networking support when needed.

Ticketing System:

  • Manage and respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize and escalate issues appropriately to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Communicate issues to the engineering team and ensure proper tracking and resolution follow-up.

Bilingual Support:

  • Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English (preferred).
  • Provide clear and understandable technical assistance to users.


Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience as an IT Helpdesk Administrator or a similar role.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
