Key Account Manager

Job Responsibilities :


1. Receive and discuss the sales plan with the General Sales Manager for raw materials, setting a work plan for the region in terms of quantities, products, and pricing for each product. Approve the plan to start distributing it to the representatives on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis.


2. Set specific goals for each representative according to their designated area in terms of quantities, products, and prices. Review and approve each representative's visit schedule and route within their area to ensure full coverage of the work region and all customers with the company’s products.


3. Continuously monitor, supervise, and review each representative’s performance in the designated region, providing the necessary support and intervening as needed to ensure the work proceeds according to plan and to meet the sales objectives.


4. Review the daily reports from the representatives regarding sales, balances, credit limits, collections, returns, competitors’ status, pricing, and other essential details about the region. Prepare a visit and follow-up plan for the next day to ensure daily monitoring of the representatives and sales performance.


5. Supervise and follow up with existing and new clients across the region to ensure strong and positive relationships with the company. Address any technical or non-technical issues related to the products to maintain a sustainable relationship with customers.


6. Supervise the company’s product shipment operations by receiving and reviewing the daily shipment plan and ensuring all customers in the area receive their orders in good condition. Intervene if necessary to support the representative in case of issues.


7. Prepare the necessary reports on the performance of the representatives' team in the designated region in terms of sales, balances, debts, and collections, submitting these to the direct manager and coordinating with the finance department to monitor client debts.


8. Study and analyze competing companies in the same region, identify their products, sales policies, prices, and customer offers, conduct competitive analysis, and provide recommendations to the direct manager to make informed sales decisions to support the growth and expansion of the company’s products.


9. Provide the team with the required training and guidance on the various products to ensure high-quality and effective marketing and sales performance, fulfilling customer needs.


10. Represent the company in industry-related conferences and exhibitions to ensure a good representation of the company's products and to work on expanding the customer base.


Qualifications:


  • Higher education degree
  • Sales training courses


Experience:


  • 7 to 10 years of sales experience in an industrial company
