Compensation & Benefits Specialist

  • Calculate monthly salaries, bonuses, and incentives for employees based on attendance records, timesheets, performance evaluations and other relevant data.
  • Process payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to established payroll schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for income tax withholding, social insurance contributions, and other payroll-related obligations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll related reports and filings to relevant government authorities as per legal deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports, such as social insurance filings and labor ministry notifications.
  • Maintain an accurate personnel database, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and tax withholding details.
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips, salary statements, and other payroll-related documents to employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Utilize payroll software to facilitate payroll processing, data management, and reporting.
  • Prepare personnel-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination documents, in compliance with Basharsoft’s internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring that all employees’ files are completed and valid with required employment documents for employees.
  • Archive any documents related to the employees from receiving his new role till resignation or retirement.
  • Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update relevant records accordingly.
  • Follow up on nearly expired employment contracts and communicate with the direct manager for action whether renewal of contract or end the contract and proceed to the end of settlement process.
  • Manage new employee onboarding processes, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and introduction to Basharsoft’s policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to enroll employees in benefit programs and process changes or terminations as necessary.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, deadlines, internal announcements to employees to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Monitor people and culture team actual budget, ensuring that expenses are in alignment with Forecasted budget.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and provide assistance to employees regarding salary payments, deductions, and benefits.
  • Generate and prepare monthly HR reports for management, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
  • Conduct training sessions or workshops to help employees understand HR software and systems.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, or a related field.Human resources diploma is a plusExperience:1-3 years of experience in payroll processing and personnel administration.Solid knowledge of Egyptian labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll and personnel data.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and external stakeholders.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Language Proficiency:Fluent Arabic and English verbal and written.
